The programme of the 2nd All-Russian Cable Congress which will be held on 19-21 March 2019 in Moscow in EEC Sokolniki is currently being developed. The main business forum of the industry will gather more than 400 delegates, which are the representatives of the major producers and customers of cable products. The organizers of the Congress are international exhibition company MVK, VNIIKP JSC, Electrocable Association.
The Cable Congress will start with the plenary session the Russian cable industry and its integration into other sectors of economy. Mr. Gennady Meschanov, the General Director of VNIIKP JSC and the President of Electrocable Association, will make a presentation on the current state and development directions of the Russian and world cable industry. The representatives of Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, Committee on Economic Policy, Industry, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship of the State Duma, Committee on Energy of the State Duma, Federal Agency on Technical Regulating and Metrology and other organizations are invited to discuss urgent issues and priority tasks in the cable industry.
The panel discussion covering the current goals and development plans of the largest Russian customers of cable products will continue the programme of the first day. To join the discussion the experts of PJSC ROSSETI , JSC «United Energy Company», FGC UES, Moscow Metro State Unitary Enterprise, the Russian Aluminium Association and other companies are invited.
The agenda of the second and the third days of the All-Russian Cable Congress includes the following thematic sections: Security aspects. Project «Cable without danger». Current achievements and development plans; New technological approaches and trends in cable products manufacturing; The tasks undertaken by young scientists and specialists in cable industry; The extended cable producer’s responsibility.
