Results of the 17th International Exhibition Cabex 2018

From the 20th to the 22nd of March in Moscow, in the Sokolniki Exhibition Center, the 17th International Exhibition of cable and wire products Cabex 2018 was successfully held.

The organizers of the exhibition were ITE Group, All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Cable Industry (VNIIKP), Association "Electrocable".
The General Sponsor of the exhibition was Xinming Cable Machinery,
General Information Partner - portal RusCable.Ru.
 
Cabex is the only exhibition of cable and wire products in Russia. For domestic and foreign manufacturers and suppliers, Cabex is an effective business platform for attracting new customers, expanding the geography of sales and promoting its products on the Russian market.
 
This year 154 companies from 9 countries took part in Cabex exhibition (Russia, Belarus, Italy, China, Serbia, Slovenia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, France). Among the debutants of the exhibition are Tolyatti Foundry and Mechanical Plant, Rostov Electrometallurgical Plant, Ivanovo Cable Plant, La Triveneta Cavi SpA, MG Recycling (Italy), Rosvaer, Uzeltehsanoat (Uzbekistan), Holding Kablovi Ad Jagodina (Serbia), Metaclay, and others.
 
During the three days of work, the exhibition was visited by 4,326 specialists.
 
The area of ​​the exhibition is 5 260 square meters.
 
Within the framework of the business program of the exhibition:
- Conference on “Recycling of Cables, Wires and WEEE, Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) in Cable Production”;
- Practical b2b contacts exchange for recyclers and suppliers of primary and secondary materials for cable production, including aluminium, coppers, PVC compounds;
- Seminar of JSC VNIIKP "What's new in technology and technology - some issues of the development of the cable industry in 2017";
- Working group meeting "Cable production and materials". The Working Group includes representatives of these ministries, the main customers of cable and wire products of PJSC Rosset, PJSC FGC UES, SC Rosatom, PJSC Inter RAO, profile scientific organizations of VNIIKP, NIU MPEI, and over 20 cable manufacturers, wires, fittings and insulating materials;
- Training seminar of the Group of Companies "Moskabelmet" for designers and engineering staff "Innovative products in the cable industry. From design to installation ";
- Demonstrative installation of the cable heat shrinkable coupler ZETA "Plant of electrical fittings".
 
On the final day of the exhibition portal RusCable.Ru and the management of Cabex summed up the results of the contest for the best press service or marketing department among participants of the
PR-challenge Cabex 2018.
Winners received diplomas and valuable prizes from the organizers of the contest. Results of the competition: First Degree Diploma - Group of companies "Moskabelmet", Second Degree Diploma - "Cable Alliance Holding". Third Degree Diploma  - JSC "VNIIKP". Honorary diplomas of the participant of the contest were awarded to the press services of the companies: Kama Cable, Saransk Cable, Expert Cable, ROSSKAT, Cable Plant Spetskabel, Cable Plant UNKOMTECH, Partner Electro.
