“We Will Develop Our Business in Russia”: Interview with the Commercial Director of Chuangzhan

21 April 2026
Chuangzhan Intelligent Technology has participated in Cabex-2026 more than once, showcasing a wide range of cable equipment. We spoke with the company’s Commercial Director, Yuan Zhaodi, about the key features of their solutions and plans to expand the company’s presence in the Russian market.

— Ms. Yuan, please tell us about your company.

— Chuangzhan Intelligent Technology is a high-tech group of companies integrating R&D, manufacturing, and sales of professional equipment for the cable industry. In China, we operate three high-tech production bases. Our clients include companies from all over the world. In China, these are mainly large, often state-affiliated corporations and holdings. In Russia, our customers include Cable Alliance Holding, Rezhkabel, Ufimkabel, and others. We also work with European and American companies such as TE Connectivity, Amphenol, Molex, Leoni, Coroplast, Bartec, Volex, Sumitomo Electric, Hitachi, Fujikura, and others.

— What products are you presenting at Cabex this year?

— At the exhibition, we are presenting equipment for the production of cable and wire products. Our equipment can be used to manufacture cables for various applications, including power cables, self-regulating heating cables, cables for submersible electric pumps, aerospace cables, medical wires, high-speed data transmission cables, automotive wires, high-frequency cables, cables for new energy, and more. We offer customized innovative solutions that fully meet product requirements, as well as turnkey solutions combining advanced technologies and intelligent systems. Our equipment also features remote diagnostics and troubleshooting capabilities.

— What are the main advantages of your equipment?

— We primarily produce energy-efficient equipment, as there is strong demand for it, as well as intelligent systems. Our equipment is highly automated: all units can operate automatically. For example, a fully automated take-up system eliminates the need for manual labor. An operator can monitor the production line remotely from an office and control the entire manufacturing process.

— Which equipment attracted the most interest from Cabex visitors?

— Extrusion equipment, particularly extrusion lines for the production of specialized cables.

— What are your key objectives in the Russian market?

— This is our second year participating in the exhibition, as we are interested in expanding the presence of our equipment in Russia. Two experienced specialists — Renat Farkhullin and Kamila Usmanova — are responsible for developing the Russian market. Our key goal is to provide as many Russian cable plants as possible with access to high-quality equipment.

— Are you planning to open a representative office in Russia?

— Yes, we have such plans for the future. We also warmly invite everyone to visit our factories to learn more about our production, hold negotiations, and exchange experience.

— This year the exhibition is held at a new venue — the Timiryazev Center. What are your impressions?

— I have a very positive impression of the exhibition. As expected, there were many visitors. We were constantly busy — answering questions and demonstrating our capabilities to customers. We plan to participate again next year and will continue to gradually expand our presence in the Russian market.
