Cabex 2024, the 22nd International Exhibition of Cable and Wire Products, Equipment and Materials for their Production, was held from 19 to 21 March.
This year, over 250 companies took part in the exhibition, and the exhibition area totalled 10,000 square metres, which is 1.5 times larger than in 2023.
The Cabex 2024 exhibition aroused great interest from visitors. During the three days of work, the exhibition was visited by 5,411 specialists responsible for the selection of cable and wiring products, as well as related materials and equipment, which is 14% more than in 2023.
The business programme of the exhibition was very rich and lasted three days, during which important industry events were held:

Conference "State and prospects of development of the construction industry in Russia", key sessions:
Conference "Topical issues of the cable and wire products industry".
The participants of the business programme - over 700 delegates and more than 50 industry experts, representatives of profile enterprises and state structures - discussed topical issues of the cable industry within the framework of the conferences.
Traditionally, the Best Innovative Product-2024 competition was held within the framework of the exhibition, which resulted in the identification of the winning companies whose innovative solutions were recognised as the most promising and significant for the development of the cable industry. The expert jury represented by specialists from VNIIKP JSC and Elektrokabel Association determined the winners in three nominations: "Cable and wires", "Materials for cable production", "Electrical wiring products".
The annual contest for PR-specialists and marketing services RusCable PR-challenge was also held within the framework of the exhibition. The organisers of the contest are MVK Company and RusCable.Ru industry media holding. This year 12 companies became winners.
The official opening ceremony of the representative office of the Association of Chinese Cable Industry Manufacturers in Russia took place on the Cabex exhibition platform. The purpose of the representative office in Russia is to enable domestic companies to receive information about novelties and technical parameters of products and equipment in Russian, as well as to co-operate on other issues.
Due to the high interest of companies in Cabex, the exposition area will be increased in 2025. Cabex 2025 will be held in two pavilions of Expocentre: Pavilion Forum and Pavilion 7 (Halls 3 and 4). The dates are 18-20 March 2025.
