On the 20th of March the opening ceremony of the Representative office of the Association of Chinese Cable Industry Manufacturers will be held as a part of the business programme on the venue. Over 100 Chinese companies – the Association members – are manufacturers of cable and cable manufacturing equipment of different types; manufacturers of raw materials for cable braids; manufacturers of shipping containers and paint and varnish products. The opening of the Representative office will provide Russian companies with an opportunity to get access to an up-to-date information about new products and technical parameters of products and equipment, and also to effectively communicate with Chinese partners in Russian language. Learn more about Cabex business programme “Best Innovative Product 2024 “ contest “Best Innovative Product“ contest is held among Cabex exhibitors and includes three nominations: Cables and wires; Materials for cable production; Electrical installation products. The purpose of the contest is to identify cutting-edge achievements in the cable and wire industry, as well as to highlight qualitative improvements in existing products on the market. A comprehensive assessment of innovations is carried out by an expert jury. The contest committee comprises specialists from VNIIKP, JSC and Electrocable Association, who have extensive scientific and practical experience in the field of creation and implementation of high-tech cable products. The award ceremony will take place on the 21st of March at 14:00. Cable Industry Museum This year, as part of the exposition of the Cabex exhibition, a unique project will be presented: a special museum zone with artifacts of the cable industry, collected by RusCable.Ru with the support of the International Association “Electrocable” and cable industry enterprises. The exhibition will include unusual cable constructions, archive photographs, artifacts, documents and models collected specifically for the Cabex 2024 exhibition: cable from the “Aurora”; HTSC superconductor; superconductor of the ITER project; cable products and artifacts of the 1970–80s from Podolskkabel museum; exhibits from the collection of Optikenergo Museum; samples of the “Russian Independence Cable” and “Doomsday Cable”; a collection of photographs from different Russian museums, and much more. The museum zone will be located in the center of the Forum pavilion near the fountain. During all three days of the exhibition, it will be possible not only to view the exhibits, but also to take part in the formation of the exposition of the cable industry museum.
