ELASTOSIL® silicone rubber is resistant to high and low temperatures (-50 °C to 250 °C, special grades even -110 °C to 300 °C). The physical properties are almost unchanged in the range from -50 °C to 180 °C. Characteristic are also insensitivity to chemicals and weather conditions, neutral taste and odour (most grades are BfR and FDA compliant), water-repellent surface, high transparency and good workability.
